HPNow Appoints Arnon Goldfarb As Director

HPNow, a leader in decentralized electrocatalytic production of hydrogen peroxide, announced the appointment of Arnon Goldfarb to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Goldfarb brings more than 30 years of executive experience to HPNow’s board. He has held a number of key roles including 10 years as General Manager of TMB Ltd, a water treatment company involved with desalination, drilling, water reservoirs and aqua culture, and 5 years as Vice President Business Development of Israel Chemical.

Mr. Goldfarb is currently a venture partner with ICV, a successful venture capital fund with sustainability focus. He sits on several Boards, including early stage as well as mature water treatment companies.

Forbes names HPNow co-founder to its “30 under 30” list

January 23rd 2018. Copenhagen, Denmark – Arnau Verdaguer, co-founder of HPNow, has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe Science and Healthcare list of 2018. HPNow’s breakthrough technology for on-site generation of hydrogen peroxide using only water, air and electricity, was originally developed by Verdaguer together with HPNow co-founder Rasmus Frydendal throughout their studies at the Danish Technical University. The discoveries made at that time were eventually turned into revolutionary solution for on-site generation of a safe and eco-friendly water and air treatment agent.

The business magazine says its “30 under 30” list includes “600 of the brightest young entrepreneurs, innovators and game changers,” selected from more than 15,000 nominations. Evonik Venture Capital invests in HPNow

December 21, 2017. Copenhagen, Denmark – Evonik, the global specialty chemicals firm and one of the world’s largest producers of hydrogen peroxide has undertaken a minority equity investment in HPNow ApS through its corporate venture capital arm. The investment capital will be utilized to further scale up and commercialize HPNow’s disruptive on-site hydrogen peroxide generation solutions across different market sectors, where distributed on-site generation can overcome the barriers of today’s centralized hydrogen peroxide supply chain. Beyond the fresh capital, the investment provides strong endorsement to HPNow’s technology and market approach, and a strategic investor with vast experience in developing hydrogen peroxide markets. HPNow Selected for €1.25M Phase 2 Funding by the EC’s prestigious SME Instrument

March 8, 2017, Copenhagen, Denmark – HPNow ApS has been selected for phase 2 funding by the highly-competitive Horizon 2020 SME Instrument – the EC’s leading platform supporting highly-innovative European SME’s with potential for major market impact based on strong innovation. The EC grant will be utilized towards HPGen productization and market introduction in the irrigation water treatment sector.
